Sara C.

Sara brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her role as a tutor at Central Park Tutors. Passionate about education and committed to ensuring every student has access to an excellent education, Sara has dedicated her entire career to this cause. Her journey began as a high school math teacher with Teach For America, where she cultivated her passion for setting students up for academic and personal success through education. Since then, she has navigated various sectors of the educational landscape, including roles in education nonprofits, advocacy organizations, and policy. Sara has also delved into entrepreneurship, playing a pivotal role in launching an edtech startup focused on providing automated feedback and grading for secondary level math subjects.
Sara holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University, an M.A. in Education from Southern Methodist University, and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. In her spare time, she enjoys taking care of her dog, traveling to new places, and exploring new restaurants in N.Y.C.
