Hi, I'm Renee Browne. I was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago where I completed my schooling up to high-school. There I fell in love with Mathematics, studying varying aspects of it, from Pre-Algebra and Pure Mathematics to Applied Mathematics and Statistics. I furthered my interest to tutor in college at Howard University, where I gained experience tutoring university student athletes in Mathematics, Accounting, Economics and Quantitative Business Analysis. I tutored at Howard University from 2008 to 2011. During that time, I also worked at the university's Enrollment Management office, analyzing statistics to improve the efficiency of the office's processes. During my matriculation at University of Rochester to gain my Masters of Finance from 2013 to 2014, I tutored my fellow classmates and other students at the university that needed help with differential equations and calculus-based questions. Most recently, I have taught SAT Math in conjunction with the NY Step program at Hostos Community College, third to twelfth grade Mathematics and graduate school level Marketing. I have seven years career experience in the Finance industry doing Risk Management. During my free time, I enjoy cooking, meditation and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to working with you!
