Alex R

Alex is a patient and dedicated tutor who brings the same analytical skills and discipline from his career in finance and real estate to helping students succeed academically. Before becoming a tutor, Alex built and managed a value-add real estate portfolio in New York and worked in structured finance at a large institution, managing a fixed income portfolio of CMBS and CRE CLO bonds.

He earned his M.S. in Real Estate Development from NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate and uses his strong quantitative and problem-solving background to make math, reading, and writing approachable and engaging. Alex tailors lessons to each student’s learning style, focusing on building confidence, critical thinking, and long-term success.
