After graduating from Barnard College with a bachelor’s degree in Medical Humanities, I began my teaching career through Teach for America’s New York City corps. During my two years with TFA, I worked as a middle school special education teacher while earning my Master of Arts in Teaching in Special Education from Relay Graduate School of Education. I now continue to teach middle school on the Upper West Side, where I am passionate about helping students build both their academic skills and confidence as learners. Outside of the classroom, I love escaping the city to spend time hiking and exploring the outdoors.
