My name is Lisa and I have been teaching for more than fifteen years now! I attended Saint Francis College and received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I then earned my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and I have worked in the private school system as a Kindergarten teacher, Elementary school teacher and Pre-K teacher in Manhattan and Brooklyn Heights. I'm certified in Orton-Gillingham curricula PAF and Wilson, in Handwriting Without Tears, and I am an Applied Behavior Analysis therapist. I have tutored students from ages 2- 12 in all academic areas including preparation for the Gifted & Talented exams, applications to Hunter Elementary School and, of course, helping little ones learn to read and write.
