I am an educator and educational leader with over 20 years of experience helping students achieve measurable academic growth, develop confidence, and perform at increasingly rigorous levels. I hold a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, two master’s degrees, and certifications in educational leadership, elementary education, and Spanish. My career has included serving as an elementary classroom teacher, a Spanish K-12 teacher, district supervisor, adjunct college instructor, researcher, and educational consultant. This has givien me extensive experience supporting students from elementary school through college and adulthood. I currently oversee curriculum, instruction, assessment, and academic programming across 25 schools and more than 55 educators. Under my leadership, AP Spanish language scores increased by 30 percentage points, surpassed state and global averages, and reached the district’s highest level in more than five years; I also expanded New Jersey Seal of Biliteracy attainment by over 200% in one year. As a tutor, I bring the same results-oriented approach to each student by identifying specific learning needs, establishing clear goals, providing personalized instruction, and regularly monitoring progress. I maintain high expectations while creating a supportive environment in which students learn to think critically, communicate effectively, and become more confident and independent learners. I understand that families are entrusting me with both their children’s academic progress and their time, and I am committed to making every session purposeful, engaging, and connected to tangible results.
