Jared G.

Jared was born and raised in East Tennessee, and studied Mathematics and Economics at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He was a tutor for mathematics and economics courses there throughout his undergraduate studies. After working two years as a predoctoral research assistant at Princeton University, he enrolled in Columbia University's PhD program for Economics, where he has been a teaching assistant for several undergraduate economics courses and the instructor of Principles of Economics. He is completing his dissertation on applied microeconomics this academic year. In his free time, Jared enjoys reading, playing strategy or role-playing games, walking in Riverside Park, and photography.
