Raveena P.

Hi, I am Raveena.  I am an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Visiting Scientist at CUNY. I teach undergraduate Biology and Microbiology. I am a microbiologist by training. I completed my BSc in Biology at the University of Guyana, my Master's in Biology at Lehman College, and my PhD in Biology at The Graduate Center, CUNY. I study sugar-induced cell death (SICD) in yeast as a method of identifying new antimicrobial drug candidates. When I am not teaching or doing research, I like to hike, bake, and take photos.
