Madeleine A

I am former Eighth grade English teacher and now a full-time tutor and writer. I have a BA in anthropology from Reed College, an MA in anthropology from Indiana University, and an MFA in fiction from The New School. I previously taught writing and communication at Indiana University , and tutored middle school extensively at Lindamood-Bell in Portland. I am a freelance writer with essays in The Baffler and elsewhere, and I love going on long, ambling bike rides. I know the lyrics to every Steely Dan song to come out before Two Against Nature.
