I am a New York State certified teacher with experience teaching in NYC public and charter schools. I specialize in elementary mathematics (Grades 1–6), Mandarin Chinese, and supporting multilingual learners. I earned my Master’s degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and enjoy helping students build confidence through patient, individualized instruction.

I am fluent in English, Mandarin, and Fuzhounese. I also hold the National Mandarin Proficiency Certificate (Level 1-B), demonstrating professional-level Mandarin pronunciation and communication skills. Whether I am helping a child master math concepts or guiding students and adults in learning Chinese, I strive to create engaging lessons that make learning enjoyable and effective.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy writing, education, and exploring new ideas. I believe every student can succeed with encouragement, structure, and the right support.
