Lisa is a retired teacher with 40 years experience in a variety of grade levels. She has had essays published in Newsday, The Christian Science Monitor, and in the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series. She volunteers in her school district, and for a dog rescue organization, and is a submissions reviewer for an education journal. She has a doctorate in educational psychology.
