Lauren C.

Hi! My name is Lauren. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Southern Connecticut State University and my master’s degree in Special Education from Lasell University, graduating with high honors from both. Over the past seven years, I’ve taught in public schools across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and now New York City, where I currently teach 4th grade.
My greatest joy as a teacher is helping students build confidence and a love for reading. I believe that when students discover books they connect with, they become lifelong learners. Outside of the classroom, I’m an avid reader myself—I love finding a cozy corner and getting lost in a good book. I also enjoy spending time with friends and exploring new restaurants around the city.
