Katelyn

I grew up in Charleston, SC with a younger sister and brother. My brother has learning disabilities and was born with a cleft palate. He didn't talk until he was 4 year old. I received my bachelors in elementary education from Clemson University. Upon graduating I taught 4th grade in Charleston, SC and kindergarten in Asheville, NC. After 2 years with 20 students I decided I wanted something a little different; so I went back to graduate school and earned my masters in special education from Western Carolina University. I have recently moved to New York from the mountains of Western North Carolina. I love spending time with my husband who was my high school sweetheart and our crazy beagle, Sammy.
