Kami

Kami began her teaching career in 2005 as part of the New York City Teaching Fellows program. In addition to teaching pubic school in Brooklyn and Manhattan, Kami has helped NYC families navigate homeschooling as a private teacher and served as a founding faculty member and Humanities Subject Advisor for a private school in Brooklyn.
She holds teaching certification in New York and New Jersey, received a Master of Science in Childhood Education from City College, graduated with honors from Ohio University with a B.S. in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences, and has completed advanced coursework in LiteracyMUST, an Orton-Gillingham curriculum.
Kami is a proud mother of two amazing daughters and a Pilates enthusiast.
She lives with her husband, daughters, dog, and cat in Montclair, NJ. She and her family love to take advantage of New Jersey’s hiking trails and beaches.
