Julia B.
I am currently a PhD candidate in political science at Yale University where I am a Teaching Fellow and study political violence, gender, and humanitarian law. I previously worked for Human Rights Watch and for the Harvard Program on International Health and Human Rights.
Originally from California, I have worked in Bangladesh, India, Turkey, Cambodia, and Sri Lanka and now call Brooklyn home. Like my path to New York, I know there are infinite pathways to academic success. I look forward to figuring out together which path works for each student.
I hold an MA in Political Science from Yale University and a B.A. with honors in Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College.
In my spare time I like to read cookbooks, build furniture, run, and play endless fetch with my dog.
