Hannah

Hannah graduated from NYU Gallatin with an individualized major called "The Classroom as a Model for Society," which explores how to empower individuals as political agents through creative writing pedagogy. She minored in Mandarin Chinese, and has interned at PEN America and the Asia Society Policy Institute. Upon graduating NYU, Hannah moved to Shanghai to tutor university students at NYU Shanghai in academic writing. Hannah has previously taught creative writing and English at University Settlement, an adult literacy center in the Lower East Side, and has worked with Chinese high school students applying to American colleges on writing the personal essay as well as their verbal interview skills. As a poet, Hannah is often reading and writing in Prospect Park, and is currently earning her MFA in Poetry at Brooklyn College.
