Allan

Allan is an experienced academic coach specializing in Upper Level Math/CS and test preparation. With a strong background tutoring students both independently and as a Instructional Assistant at Georgia Tech’s OMSCS program, he brings a balanced and effective approach to helping learners at the high school and early college levels. He works to ensure every student feels confident not only across all sections of an exam, but the encompassing environment and mental state as well. His passion for tutoring stems from the joy of helping students connect the dots in their own unique way and reach those “lightbulb” moments. Originally from upstate New York, Allan holds a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Rochester, as well as a master’s in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning from Georgia Tech. Outside of academics, he is an avid sports fan, gamer, and NYC foodie who loves staying active.
