Alexandra
Hello! I'm Alexandra. I’m originally from South Florida, and I moved up to NYC to attend Barnard, where I majored in Environmental Science and minored in Architecture. Fun fact: I was on the varsity rowing team at Columbia for four years. After undergrad, I made a detour to Baltimore for a few years, where I completed an MS in Healthcare Management at Johns Hopkins. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner, and I'm currently working on an MPH with a concentration in Health Policy and Management, also at Johns Hopkins. I have been tutoring and working with children of all ages for many years and previously was a mathematics teacher with Breakthrough Collaborative. Additionally, I was a teaching assistant in the Department of Environmental Science in undergrad and have been a TA for Health Care Law and Regulation, Business Law, and Negotiations at the graduate level since 2014. In my free time, I love running in Central Park, trying out new restaurants, traveling, and baking!
